PGA West Golf Courses - La Quinta, California

Built in 1986, the TPC Stadium Course at PGA West is ranked among Golf Magazine's "Top 100 Courses You Can Play" in the United States. This Pete Dye design is inspired by the famed Scottish seaside courses characterized by a rugged and dramatic landscape. The course has generous landing areas, deep pot bunkers, and large, undulating greens. TPC Stadium is user friendly, but offers a test of target golf where accuracy is rewarded while errant shots are severly penalized.

Remember the 1987 Skins Game played at the Stadium course? Lee Trevino hit a 6 iron 166 yards to the island green of the 17th hole for a hole in one.
